This learning method is great for improving my English skills, because it is really suited to my own requirements and situations which I encounter in my professional contexts. Therefore, the training program is very flexible and depends on the objectives set at the beginning and throughout the training sessions. Continuously, the teacher assesses my English speaking and writing and determines the language and grammar points to re-work or to improve on.

Afterwards I receive a lesson report by email where the teacher provides me with resources, materials and grammar exercises to study and he includes corrections of my written or spoken work in order to review the difficulties I met during the lesson. Moreover, I have modules of functional language in order to help me in the preparation of my next lesson. Finally, I find that this method of English teaching is more effective than traditional courses and it meets all my expectations.

At first I was quite skeptical about being taught via Skype, because I assumed that this would make understanding the teacher much more complicated. Since I was looking for an opportunity to schedule lessons in a flexible way, I decided to try English Context™.

I was a bit nervous at the beginning, but from the very start I realized that there were no reasons to be concerned.

I like this way of learning because the situation is quite relaxed and you have the possibility to focus on language points which are necessary for you to personally improve on and you can concentrate on topics in your own context.  As most of the exercises are put in funny or eccentric contexts it was much easier for me to remember the grammar behind them.

Having the chance to reuse the links to the exercises which we worked on during the lessons was very useful. Also, reading the lesson reports which summarized all the important aspects of the lessons were helpful, because it made recalling the contents of the lesson easy and this helped with revision as well as preparing for the next lesson.

Against all expectations I am now very convinced of this method of teaching, because it’s absolutely flexible and it’s personalized towards your own language needs.
